Fresh Year, Fresh Opportunities

I've never been a big fan of the hoopla surrounding New Year's Eve - I mean, I could understand it when Dick Clark was alive, but Ryan Seacrest? And why anyone would want to start a brand new year dragging, hungover and wearing a stupid looking hat? I'd rather spend it with my husband and furry family (that's Biscuit, Alvin and Gracie in front of our perpetually "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree. Alvin's ears are flat against his head - seems he's uncomfortable with the look of the three holes on the iPhone 11 and his post-surgery hair do.)
I love to wake up early on January 1, having already started to organize, shred and declutter during the week after Christmas, and hit the ground running. This year, the first item on my list is a single family flip house in a high end neighborhood - and I'm going MCM, a new style experience for me, and I can't wait. We only grow when we get out of our comfort zone, right? And heaven knows, I am so far out of that area in 2020 that even Google can't map where I am. Having sold the businesses three weeks ago and given up my regular place to go every morning, I'm looking for new challenges, a new purpose and a new commute.
With an 8 week timeline, we should be on the market by early March. Look out for pictures of the progress. I'm also tracking another multi-family value-add project, so stay tuned!
